Suppliers on this Register are those assessed by recognised 2nd and 3rd party certification authorities only.
Second Party certification stems from a quality management system audit carried out by a customer (Queensland Government Departments/Agencies). Certification under this category is recognised only across Queensland. It was intended for recognition by all Queensland Government Departments and Agencies. Recognition by other parties is at their discretion.
Third Party certification stems from a quality management system audit carried out by a certification body independent of both the customer and the supplier. Certification under this category is recognised universally by the Queensland Government as a customer.
The Certificate issued by the Queensland Government to Quality Assured Suppliers is also at no cost and bears the Queensland Government Quality Assured Supplier logo.
